STAY CURRENT OR GET WASHED AWAY

 

This is the first post of my new blog and, as I haven’t been blogging for a couple of years now, I am finding it hard to get to grips with the topics I would like to share with you. The need for staying current and, as far up-to-date as I can, has become very apparent in recent times. Finally, I am now the proud owner of a new i-Phone and, while I am a little techno-savvy, I was blown away by the possibilities of this new piece of kit.  For someone who lived at a time when the only media  communication available to me was a very small and tinny radio, fully equipped with a tuning knob, and  about four stations to listen to, I have finally come of age!!!  Better late than never, I suppose.  As I meander on through my life, with a foot in both centuries, my head is full of thoughts and ideas, some original, some historical, which I need to grasp hold of, as they fleetingly transverse the hemispheres of my brain.  I am totally amazed at just how fragmented my thoughts have become. And so, I am going to write on any subject that offers me an opportunity of recapturing times past, living in times present, and not worrying about times future.
